The SXoM family of products includes the world’s first System-on-Modules (SOMs) based on the Smart Mobility ARChitecture (SMARC™) that feature CPU and FPGA in one chip.

The two new modules to join the Solectrix System-on-Module family, SXoM MS1-C5 and SXoM MS2-K7, adhere to the SMARC™ standard and are suited for use in a wide variety of projects. The first applications currently in development for SXoM MS1-C5 are pedestrian recognition and advanced driver assistance systems. The even more powerful SXoM MS2-K7 will be used for the processing of 4K video data. More SMARC modules will follow.

SXoM M-SF2 is a complete System-on-Module (SoM) in an ultra-compact 55 mm x 30 mm form factor. The board is designed to function as the system core of modular platforms for high-performance DSP applications. The core of SXoM M-SF2 is a Microsemi SmartFusion2 M2S050 SoC (System-on-a-Chip) that combines a flash-based FPGA fabric featuring 56K logic cells with an ARM-based hard processor system running at 166 MHz. A carrier board in PCI Express Mini Card format is available from Solectrix.
